CAT INSURANCE

Do you want the best?

We thoroughly recommend pet owners to take out insurance in case of unexpected illness / injury e.g. tick paralysis, road accidents, stitch ups, skin problems etc. Veterinarians are not funded by the government, overheads are very high and if we are to maintain and improve our existing services for you our prices have to reflect this.

Just as car insurance does not buy new tyres or contribute to servicing costs, pet insurance will not necessarily look after vaccination and worming costs (although every policy is different). But when you crash your car, the insurance company buffers you from the big costs and you can think of pet insurance in the same way.

Not every problem can be sorted out by your local vet and sometimes we may recommend that you see a specialist and that's when you'll be glad you have pet insurance. Pet insurance is particularly relevant for large-breed pure-bred cats and those cats that are especially susceptible to chronic medical conditions (such as Cavaliers with heart disease and Shar-Peis with skin problems). Pet insurance is not for everybody. All we ask is that you think about it, talk to us about it and get some quotes. By the time your dog has a chronic condition, it will be most likely too late to get pet insurance.

From as little as $16.00 a month you can protect your cat for their future, call us on 02 4285 5210 for further information.  We have an extensive list of pet insurance providers with details of basic monthly premiums.
