WORMING PROGRAM

Dogs

Puppies should be wormed fortnightly from 6 weeks until 12 weeks old. This particularly important against roundworm, tapeworm, whipworm and hookworm.

Over 12 weeks of age- once a month until 6 months old.

Dogs over 6 months old- once every 3 months.

We recommend worming with either:

Public health issues with intestinal worms:

Discourage puppies or dogs licking young children's faces.
Make sure children wash their hands, and do not place their fingers in their mouth, after handling puppies or dogs.

Felex Plus Paste
Revolution - a spot on formulation applied to the back of the neck once a month, treats roundworm and hookworm as well as heartworm, and can be a easy way to treat cats that are difficult to give oral medications to.
