Vaccines

Your dog (s) should be annually vaccinated against the main viral diseases of Parvovirus, Distemper, and Hepatitis as a bare minimum. We also provide vaccines for the two variations of the kennel cough.

Obesity Clinic

Natasha Hearne is our weight control advisor amongst our nursing staff. You may also discuss any weight issues for your pet when you have a consultation with the veterinary staff. Puppy School

Venue:	Balgownie Veterinary Hospital
Cost:	$80 4 week course includes $10 gift voucher redeemable on puppy care up to 6 Months at BVH.

Positive motivational training for puppies between 8-16 weeks.

Senior Pet Clinics

The team at BVH are all passionate about wellness testing in senior pets. Dogs and cats have an accelerated aging process. Remember, 1 animal year is equivalent to 7 – 15 human years depending on the age and breed of your dog / cat. We can manage organ failure such as liver/ kidney or heart disease more effectively if we detect changes early. We have our own in house laboratory enabling us to perform blood tests which detect early changes in organ function. Results are known within 24 hours of testing.
